VMedia Offers Axia Customers a New Way of Watching TV

Enjoy a new way of watching your favourite shows with VMedia! VMedia's TV and home phone services will provide better prices, more choice and flexibility to Alberta communities previously dependent on satellite TV. VMedia will now be delivered on Axia’s leading fibre optic network.

"Axia is committed to delivering fibre-optic Internet services to underserved communities throughout Alberta," said Robert Price, Axia's Vice-President of Residential and Enterprise services. "VMedia brings a unique combination of traditional HDTV content paired with market leading streaming services like Netflix and CraveTV on a single platform.”

VMedia has been offering flexibility and better prices in Internet, TV and home phone services to Canadians across Ontario since its launch three years ago, and is now expanding into Western Canada. With the collaboration of Axia and VMedia, Alberta communities can further enjoy the benefits of high-speed fibre Internet. These communities will have more power to enhance their entertainment experience.

"We are honoured to work with Axia to better serve Alberta’s communities," said Alexei Tchernobrivets, Chief Executive Officer of VMedia. "Homes which have had no choice in TV services, having to live with feeble over the air signals or limited satellite services at best, can now discover the rich TV experience available over fibre Internet."

VMedia offers a VBOX set top box and VCloud 7 day look-back feature. Subscribers can watch any program for up to 7 days without the need of a PVR. VMedia has full range of TV services, at prices up to 25% less than the big players.

At its launch June 15th, VMedia TV and home phone services will be available in Vulcan, Nanton, Barnwell and Nobleford.
