Are you a huge Game of Thrones fan? Did you binge-watch every episode of The Handmaid’s Tale in a single rainy weekend? Do you love stay-in movie nights, where you make some popcorn, kick back on your couch, and flick on a big time Hollywood blockbuster, like Ready Player One or The Girl on the Train?
If you’ve found yourself scrapping the bottom of the Netflix barrel, or pining to dig into a library of award-winning shows like True Detective, Westworld, Ray Donovan, and Billions, it might be the perfect time to dip your toes into the water of Canada’s best kept streaming secret.
Late last year the well-known streaming service Crave received a major facelift, expanding its partnership with HBO and Bell Media’s The Movie Network. Now, subscribers have access to more Emmy Award-winning content than any other streaming service in Canada.
What does that really mean? Well, for starters, it means you can get access to the latest HBO shows, latest Showtime shows, and the hottest Hollywood blockbusters, plus so much more—all with or without a cable subscription.
The new Crave is split into two different subscription models. For $9.99/month you get exclusive access to Crave Originals, current SHOWTIME programming, select HBO library content and previous seasons of some current HBO hits, a collection of VICE programming, and more.
For an additional $9.99/month you get the “Crave + Movies + HBO” package, which includes all of the above plus HBO's current lineup of ground-breaking series, movies, documentaries and specials, and some of the best Hollywood-hit movies, spanning all genres.
Crave can be streamed on the web using your PC or laptop, or through Apple TV, select Samsung Smart TVs, or Xbox. It’s also available on iOS and Android devices, and will soon be available on Amazon Fire TV.
